INSTALL LAN CARD TO THE CPU

PURPOSE : Technician can install LAN CARD to the CPU easily and secure

SCOPE : This procedure is applied for the technicin computer

INSTRUCTION :

1.       Prepare tools and materials are needed

2.       Loosen the casing screw of the CPU

3.       Install LAN CARD to the LAN socket

4.       Install the screw of LAN CARD to the casing

5.       Install the casing and screw

6.       Fasten the casing screw

7.       Make sure LAN DRIVER is fit with LAN CARD type

MONITORING:

1.       Technician should understand the procedure

2.       Make sure at time install the LAN CARD should to the socket exactly

3.       Make a note about time implementation and tools are used

CORRECTIVE ACTION :

After technician install the LAN CARD, Technician must check the LAN CARD , does it can be used ?.If the LAN CARD can’t function , may be the driver of LAN CARD not fit with the LAN CARD , try to change the driver.

VERIFICATION AND RECORD KEEPING:

Technician make a note about time implementation , tools and materials are used, repairmen action and the recoed must be kept for 1 year.
